the neck feathers form " Net " for network,

mission of this website, i.e., as information eyes for the world about Manado, Bitung,

The dominant color is a combination of purple and pink. Purple is the color of
awakening (resurrection) and pink is the color of Pentecost (Pinkster in Dutch, the Holy

hope of this website to gather the spirits of Mapalus from people of Manado,
Bitung, Minahasa all over the world and their connections to trigger the development
awakening of Minahasa Raya.
The green color indicates our encouragement for environment friendly Patokaan

The mission of this website is to provide information to
the world about Manado, Bitung and Minahasa, to gather information from around the world
for the people of Manado, Bitung and Minahasa wherever they are, and to provide a
communication home for the people of Manado, Bitung and Minahasa everywhere

There have been many ideas in mailing lists and discussion forums suggesting the building of an integrated information center about Manado, Bitung and Minahasa. The discussion in "Forum Diskusi Bebas Manado Post" in July 2001 was the principal trigger for the actual realization of this website. This website was put online on November 5, 2001 (Central Indonesian time), the birthday of DR. G.S.S.J. Ratulangi.
This website is dedicated to the brave people of Manado, Bitung and Minahasa wherever they are, and to the governments of Manado City, Bitung City and Minahasa Regency.
The website went international on November 5, 2001 and so far its existence is guaranteed until September 4, 2008.
